From Pilates Teacher to POLESTAR® Master
The Advanced Pilates Teacher Training is a new and exciting program designed by Polestar to provide experienced Pilates teachers with advanced training. Course modules in Assessment Skills, Advanced Sciences, Pathokinesiology, Performance Kinesiology, Communications, Business & Professional Development and Advanced Teaching Skills, are between one and three days long and most can be taken out of sequence enabling professionals to design their own schedules.
All modules earn Polestar CECs (1CEC/course hour). The advanced Pilates Teacher Training Graduate Program is for teachers who successfully completed a comprehensive certification in Pilates from A PMA approved school and have at least one year post certification experience. Graduates of this program which should be completed in a 3-5 year period, can truly be called Master Pilates Teachers.
All Polestar Studio and Rehabilitation Mentors and Educators are required to complete this program which we have already started in Asia with the Advanced Assessment modules. Many more modules will be scheduled in 2009 onwards. Please contact us for more information.
