Polestar CEC Seminar 2009
After giving the matter much thought and taking account all the pros (and there are many-cost, language, accessibility) and the cons (no palm trees, beach, swimming pool) we have decided to offer the Polestar Summer Country seminars in 2009 along the same lines as our very successful 2008 country seminars.
In 2009 we will hold seminars in Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Singapore during the month of July 2008. In addition, we are planning a special Polestar Educator /Mentor 2 day mini-retreat just after our Taipei country seminar. Although this mini-retreat is intended primarily for our Asia Educators and Mentors to cover their required material, ALL Polestar graduates and students are welcome to participate!

Curriculum and Study Protocols
Studio/Rehabilitation Phase 1 Certification - Students who sit the Phase 1 Certification Exam will be issued with a Studio/Rehabilitation Phase 1 Certificate which will be valid for 5 years. During these 5 years, these graduates should ensure that they complete the Phase 2 section (modules 4/5/6) in order to achieve a Studio/Rehabilitation Comprehensive qualification.
The phase 1 certification is an interim qualification and cannot be revalidated after the expiration of 5 years.
[By completing modules 4/5/6, they will have completed 48 of the 80 required Polestar CECs required anyway for the renewal of any Polestar certification.]
Mat/Allegro Update mini-courses - The Allegro and Mat courses have recently been modified and now include new information and exercises. Polestar has designed special Mat and Allegro update mini courses of 6 hours each which cover all the additional material. A great way for our Mat and Allegro graduates to obtain this information and earn 6 Polestar CECs!

Polestar has been operating in Asia for more than 6 years now and we know that many graduates will be revalidating their Polestar certifications soon.
Graduates please make sure that you have completed the necessary 80 Polestar CECs before the 5 year certification validity period is over.
Please check with your host for information about Polestar CECs and the Polestar Asia CEC activity schedule in your area.
Dr. Takeda opens new studio in Tokyo!
Dr Takeda has recently opened a fully equipped state-of-the-art Pilates studio at :

and has already hosted a PF/PR , S1/R1 and S2/R2 in the new facility. The establishment of the new studio , "Pilates Lab" is a great step forward for Polestar in Japan as Studio and Rehabilitation comprehensive courses are now available in the Tokyo area.
