Polestar Pilates Rehabilitation for Parkinson's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis

This workshop is designed for the therapist who treats a patient population that suffers from Parkinson's Disease or Multiple Sclerosis. This population is often discharged from formal therapy and left with little resources to treat a degenerative disease. We will address how to implement a post-rehabilitation program following therapy that continues to achieve measurable outcomes of function in special neurological populations. Participants will learn how to be creative in providing cost effective group classes and circuits that make it feasible for this population of clients to enjoy the continued benefits of Pilates.
  • Classification: Workshop
  • Duration: 3 Hours
  • Prerequisites: Completion of a comprehensive Pilates teacher training program from a Pilates Method Alliance approved school (such as Polestar Pilates Studio or Polestar Pilates for Rehabilitation)

Best suited for PT, DO, DC
