Structural Manual Intervention


The Advanced Manipulation course is designed to advance the knowledge of physical therapists in the areas of integration and manipulation of the spine and pelvis with Pilates.

The course will cover critical reasoning skills, manipulation techniques, mobilization techniques, and the relationship between manipulation and Pilates. Participants will focus on specific manipulative and mobilization techniques proven to expedite healing, movement, and neuro-muscular re-education.

  • Prerequisites: Must be a PT, or DC, or DO

    Recommended but not required: Completion of Polestar Pilates for Rehabilitation or comprehensive certification in Pilates from another school
